Drunk Beaver Inglorious Bastard Overdrive Pedal
Inglorious Bastard is Drunk Beaver's take on Blues Breaker topology - loud, transparent, and more gain. Like Morning Glory, it has an additional gain stage but utilizes BS170 MOSFET instead of JFET. It has a unique "Saturation" control that allows blending hard clipped signals into op-amp one. The pedal is versatile and can do everything from light overdrive to mid-gain distortion.
Controls
- Level - output volume.
- Saturation - controls the amount of hard silicon diodes clipping.
- Drive - gain level, from light overdrive to mid-gain distortion.
- Tone - reduces the high-frequency amount.
- Bright toggle - sets how much treble will go through the gain stage. It has three positions (from left to right): a bit of treble take-off, no limiting, and dark.
- Clipping toggle - sets soft clipping character: 2N7002 MOSFETs, blue LEDs, and NOS Si diodes.
- LED brightness trimmer - placed on the PCB trimmer allows you to adjust the status LED brightness.
