Vintage 1960s AGC Universal 15-Watt Tube Guitar Amp Combo

Vintage 1960s AGC Universal 15-Watt Tube Guitar Amp Combo

Used And Vintage Amps

Do you want a vintage amp that can give you the classic from from the '60s? If so, look no further than this Audio Guild Corporation (AGC) Universal 15-watt amp.  You don't see many of these around....it's a unique beast of an amp.

This classic amp comes with a 12" speaker, beautiful sounding reverb, a killer tremolo and two channes. This amp is easily at home with surf rock and any style of music. Before going any further, we should tell you that our amp tech did a full vetting of this amp.  Everything functions as it should, but of course we wanted to get it checked.  He cleaned all of the controls, tested all of transistors, tubes, resistors & caps.  It's good to go.

This a rare, vintage 1960s tube guitar amplifier created by Don Bonham, the man behind Magnatone.  This was his company after leaving Magnatone.  Some would say that that an amp like this is like getting a Magnatone without Magnatone pricing.   These amps are highly sought after by surf rock and studio players. The lush spring reverb and a true "pitch-shifting" vibrato are somewhat unrivaled.

You won't see many AGC Universals around.  Any fan of vintage tube amps will appreciate this one.  If you're into that, this is a great one to add to the collection!
