Pre Owned 2012 Gibson J-180-EB Everly Brothers Acoustic Guitar With OHSC
Go wake up Little Susie, cause here's an incredible acoustic guitar! It's a Gibson Custom Shop J-180-EB Everly Brothers signature model in Ebony. It's like nothing else out there. This one, built in the great year of 2012, is especially nice. The guitar has been kept in great shape by the previous owner, plays perfectly after being setup by the techs in our shop.
This wonderful J-180 is a smaller body size jumbo guitar that is comfortable to play and has a big sound for its size. It comes with a resonant solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid maple back and sides and braced with the traditional Hand-scalloped X-bracing. This toneful combination gives you a very sweet bright top end, balanced well with its mids and a tight low end. There is a comfortable slim taper neck with a rosewood fingerboard and a compound Dovetail Neck-to-body Joint for excellent sustain and tone joined with hot hide glue.
Of course there are the signature appointments of a double J-180 Moustache, 60s Style, Tortoise pickguard, Mother of Pearl Graduated Star inlays along the fingerboard, and a 2-ply Black, Engraved "EVERLY" truss rod cover.
This guitar comes with its original hardshell case. It's in excellent condition - there are finish scratches, as to be expected (hard to see in the photos due to the black finish, so while we won't call it mint, there are no real deep sratches, dings or other issues.
You may think all you have to to do is dream, but you better act quickly cause you may have to say bye bye love when its gone.
