Pre Owned 2023 Wylde Audio Barbarian Green Psychic Bullseye With OHSC
The Wylde Audio Barbarian in Grimmest Green Psychic Bullseye is a beast of a double-cutaway, built to Zakk Wylde’s exact specs for high-gain domination. It features a solid mahogany body topped with a quilted maple cap with a hypnotic "Psychic Bullseye" graphic in a deep, metallic green.
We just took this one in from one of our favorite sources - a long-time customer that keeps all of his gear in pristine shape. This one is no exception.
The mahogany body is finished with a flat top and beveled edges, providing a modern, aggressive look that is significantly more comfortable than a traditional slab-body guitar. It’s a heavy-duty instrument designed to deliver the massive sustain and "beefy" low end required for Black Label Society-style riffing.
The neck is a 3-piece maple set-neck construction, featuring Zakk’s signature "Zakk C" profile. This is a famously thick, "baseball bat" style neck that provides a substantial grip for digging into big bends and heavy vibrato. It’s topped with a high-grade ebony fretboard with 22 X-Jumbo frets and a 14” radius, ensuring that fast lead lines don't fret out even with low action. The 24.625" scale length gives the strings a slightly slinkier feel, while the Large Mother of Pearl block inlays and white 1-ply binding give the neck a premium, custom-shop aesthetic.
For electronics, this guitar has it going on. The Barbarian was armed with Zakk’s go-to active EMG 81/85 humbucker set, but the previous owner swapped the neck pickup for an EMG-60 (original pickup included in the case). The result is a razor-sharp attack and incredible harmonic response, perfect for slamming riffs and soaring leads. The control layout features two volume knobs and a master tone, along with a 3-way toggle switch, allowing you to independently dial in the output of each pickup.
The hardware is finished in a sleek Satin Black, headlined by a TonePros locking Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece. The original Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners were swapped to Grover Roto Grip Locking Rotomatic (all original parts in included in the case). Between the locking bridge and the Graph Tech XL Ivory Tusq nut, this guitar offers bulletproof tuning stability and massive sustain, making it a true stage-ready war machine.
