Pre Owned 2015 Gibson Memphis ES-355 Cherry With Bigsby With OHSC
Here for your sonic pleasure is this wonderful Gibson ES-355 in the ever-stylish Cherry finish. Taste the sweetest of tones with this semi-hollow body delight!! We just took this one in, which was made in Gibson's Memphis factory on July 9th 2015 and has been upgraded with a great set up pickups.
The ES-355 has a resonant carved maple body with a maple block that is feedback resistant. The transparent Cherry finish really shows the wood grain nicely.You get a slim profile mahogany neck with a richlite fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. There is also a classic split diamond headstock inlay and bounded headstock for legendary appointments. The body comes with tasteful multi-ply binding, completing the beautiful look.
This fine instrument comes stacked with a pair of humbuckers that are player upgrades. That's right you're getting a pair of boutique Brandonwound 1959 clone humbuckers. These pickups are vintage spec'd humbuckers that bring you plain enamel wire, magnets, butyrate bobbins, hard maple spacer, and vintage braided leads and most importantly that thick, rich vintage humbucker punch that has made Gibson guitars so legendary. With its classic controls of individual pickup volumes and tones, and its 3-way pickup selector there is a wide array of sounds to choose from.
The ES-355 comes with gold hardware; you get gold Gotoh tuners, tune-o-matic bridge, and an expressive Bigsby tremolo.
This guitar is in great condition - there are a couple of indentations on the neck and marks on the body but nothing major or that really comes out in the photos. Overall it's in great shape. The original hardshell case and certficate of authenticity is included. The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly. For anyone looking for an amazing ES-335, this is a great find.
