This Custom Grand Auditorium from Taylor Guitars was designed to blend all of the gorgeous aesthetics of Taylor’s Presentation Series and 900 Series into one stunning instrument. This is a one-off build, brought to us by Taylor directly, and represents something new, rare and unique - it's the only one made like it.
The body of the guitar displays all of the appointments you’d find on a Presentation Series instrument. The stunning pairing of premium woods Sinker Redwood and Honduran Rosewood is amazing. Honduran Rosewood back & sides gives the player a rich, low bass response, scooped midrange, and accentuated trebles, warmed up with the sonic richness of Sinker Redwood as a soundboard – this instrument in particular displaying gorgeous hues from brown to maroon to black. You’ll find abalone shell adorning the full body of this instrument - paua shell purfling lines are found on the rosette, along with a detailed pinstripe on the top, back, and sides of the instrument.
Taylor Guitars is synonymous with comfort when it comes to playability, and a radius armrest built with beautiful ebony is also found on the body of this guitar. The Ascension inlayed fretboard is currently found on all of Taylor’s 900 series instruments, which features paua shell and pearl. This guitar features Taylor’s proprietary ES2 electronics along with a form-fitted Taylor hardshell case.
We've had a lot of amazing Taylor guitars here but this one rises to the top of the "most special" category. Having a Presentation Series spec guitar at this price makes it not only a great value, but a wonderful investment. Most importantly, the playability and sound are out of this world. A guitar like this is unmatchable.
